This software requires 3D acceleration which is not yet supported by Parallels Desktop. You'll need to use Bootcamp for that.

I am using 2020 Design 6.4 quite well using Parallels. It is quick and responsive. I am pleased with its performance. I have not tried version 8.
I'm very happy to hear that. I tried running 2020 on my MacBook last year but I couldn't get it to see the security dongle. I'm going to download the current Parallels build this weekend and give it a go. I'm using 6.4 as well and currently have no plans to upgrade to 8. We should keep in touch.
