Problem: Using Windows 7 with the latest RDP updated KB2592687 - as of 10/25/2012, and 2X Client for Windows prior to version 10.1.1268 will result in the unexpected disconnect of a session without any error message being displayed. We have confirmed this issue on Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601. This same problem was also experienced on any Windows 8 platform.

Cause: The new Microsoft RDP Active X control will disconnect with an error code 1 (normal disconnect) unless the executable binary manifest is changed.

Solution: Simply upgrade to the latest 2X Client for Windows version 10.1.1275 or higher

If you experience the warning message, "A website is trying to start a remote connection", please upgrade to 2X Client for Windows version 10.5.1323 or higher.

We apologise for any inconvenience.
