2X Client - Windows - connection to Application Server witho

Hello,

is the 2X Client (windows) able to connect to an 2X Application Server with just a username and domain, but without password?


We want to install 2X App Server (maybe 2 or 3) within an environment with up to 500 Users. The point is, that all users have no domain password.

At the moment they can connect to win 2003 ts servers without passwords also. In the future we dont want to have them the ts desktop anymore, but necessary apps provided through application servers. So it's important, that they can connect to the application server with 2x client in the same way as they connect to terminal server or their desktop login - without password.

..that's very bad procedure in my opinion, but the choice is yours.
yes the client can establish the connection without the password, but then it will be asked again, and i think that when it will be asked, if you leave it blank it will leave you out, and i agree it should work that way...

i know the post is old and maybe you already found your answers ;)
