I have VirtualDesktopServer running on a windows machine and I want to connect from my iMac running 10.6.
When I try to install the 2x Client on the iMac it says "can't install, a new version already exits". But when I search my Mac hard drive for "2x" I find nothing.
Is there a way to force the install and make it install even if it things it's already there?
By the way, I have run the uninstaller multiple times and it says "uninstall successful" but when I try to install it always says the same thing: already exists, new version.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My whole point for using 2x at all is to access Windows apps from Mac computers. If I can't do that, I don't want 2x at all. I can go windows-to-windows a lot more efficiently with server 2008r2 remote desktop server.
So please, help somebody (hopefully somebody at 2x) help me use this program on a Mac.
Thanks in advance.
