Does the universal printing work on the free 2x 5 user version ?

For some reason I cannot get it to work. It sends the print job to the "universal Printer " on the client machine but cannot get it to go to the default printer.

HELP !!!!

Hi there,

If the demo period has expired printing will not work.
You need to by a license.

Universal printing

I am having a slightly different issue. The universal printer shows up and when I print to it, Adobe launches with the document as a pdf. That works great. However, it also sends the document to my default printer.

Is there a setting or a way to prevent the document from being printed to both Adobe and my default printer?

Thanks.

Server and client on ver. 6 build 419.
Server is 2003, client is XP.

On the Client select the "View Document to Print" from the options.

Can you...

Is there a setting that would allow to sent and print the PDF on the printer but not show it in Acrobat?

I've been over the settings over and over and can't find anything.

Hi Damian,

2X Just launches the pdf file to print & the OS takes care what Program to use for printing, usually Acrobat is installed. Now when instructing Acrobat to print it keep the acrobat reader open after printing.

To confirm this drag and drop a pdf file on a printer & you will notice that Acribat will open and stays open.
