Hi, i have a realy strange problem with my published outlook on 2x client v9.0. When i klick a link in outlook it opens like it should but after a few seconds outlook pops up and puts all other opened windows in the background. I have tried turning of url redirect, uppdating to newest server and client version but still nothing.
Hi there, please provide more details about your environment as: 1. Which version of Outlook do you use? 2. Please make sure that ALL 2x Products (Server, Client) use the latest release (9.0.1073) or beta. >>> Please be aware that the automatic update might be older then the download versions on our website! 3. Which OS do you use on the clients, on the terminal server and on the machine with the 2xServer(s)? 4. Do you use virtual environments? >>> If yes, which one and which version? >>> Which machines are virtulised? You might also open an ticket with 2x support. Kind regards,
Hi Outlook is version 2007 Clients are newest version from the website, not beta. Server has one update available via auto update Client is currently using win XP but will be switching to win 7 soon The server is using Win Server 2008R2 We are using Hyper-v don't know witch version, i am not in charge of server updates.
Hi there, I believe the best is to open a support ticket with 2x. Till now we couldn't reproduce it, however we would like to have a closer look but for this we need a proper communication channel. Kind regards,
I just submitted a tech support ticket for this issue as I just witnessed the same problem. The problem seems to be with some kind of refresh thing. Every 15 seconds it switches back to the non-active 2x application. It works fine on Windows 2003 but not 2008 for some reason. There's got to be a simple answer for this. Server: Windows 2008 R2 Standard 2x App Server and load balancer as backup Version 9.0 Build 1061 Client Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7 SP0 Client version: 9.0 build 1073
I've seen the same problem. I can tie it back to installing Windows Updates that require a reboot. If the server is prompting for a reboot it will cause the issues you are seeing.
