2X Stops working after latest update on iPad

Since the latest 2X update on my iPad (iOS 7, version 10.6 build 1522), I can not connect to any server/PC. I use 2X RDP to setup connections to multiple servers/PC's via multiple VPN networks. I can successfully connect to each VPN network (and ping the PC/Server), but not connect to the PC. My iPhone is able to connect using identical settings and is on the same connection as the iPad. Are there any known issues with the latest build on the iPad?
 
Which iPad should I buy? So im thinking of buying an ipad 2 with 3g but then its almost the same prize as an ipad 3 with just wifi so which one is better?
