2X universal printing DOES NOT work

We rolled out 2X with universal printing and our customer is NOT happy because printing is so bad! When they print to the 2X universal driver almost every time the 2nd box to pick the local printer does not show up so it never prints. They are going crazy because it wont work. The only way they can fix it is to logout of 2X and log back in but that is VERY frustrating to the users and they want this fixed today. I have done multiple support chats with 2X support and this has not been resolved yet. Please help!

In AS 6.1(beta) 2X Universal printing has been improved... Please give it a look.

Note this is still in beta and things might now work 100% but if find any issues with it please do report them.

That sounds fine and all but we just purchased this software and paid for not only a "Citrix Alternative" but one with a printing solution. Telling me to use a beta in a production environment is not the kind of answer we want to hear! We want to tell our customer that we got it fixed and you can now print. How can we fix this issue without the beta?

I never said to use the beta in a production environment !!!!

Wait till 6.1 is released and update the severs.

Ok, when is the new version going to be released as final? We need printing now. Also, will installing the 6.1 beta client resolve these issues?

There is no official release date, but it should be some time soon........

I guess the best thing to do is to download 6.1 and give it a try in your environment.... (The Client should be enough..)

We had similar issues here to what you're experiencing and I upgraded a few users to the 6.1 beta client. The printing issues have pretty much gone away. I was disappointed in the length of time it took to get a fix, but am happy that one is finally available.
