2X Web Login Question

I have a secure web site using SSL that has links to Applications running on Terminal Servers. I want the authenticated users to be able to click on a link and have the application launch without the need for the user to enter their terminal server User Name and password. I would like to be able to build the user name and password into the the URL.

Can a web URL be used to log a client into Terminal Services without requesting a user name and password?

Hi there,

This system you require is not available in the current web portal.

BUT a sample of how to make use of the 2X Web Service is available at:
http://www.2x.com/downloads/AppServer-L ... Sample.zip

You can use/modify it to set up your own system..

Could I not just generate my own .2xa files which would then launch the application assuming that the 2x Client was installed?

Yes just use 2XAGen.exe to generate the information you need.
