    Hi there,
Recently I was testing publishing from 2X Web Portal. I encountered some surprising things.
I entered applications such as MS office in a group, internet explorer, firefox, MS explorer, Acrobat etc, outlook express etc

MS explorer, outlook express, and internet explorer could be accessed without problem.

For applications which were in a group folder, I could go up to one level, that is, I can see the published applications icons, but could not access it.
Error Message was: No published item specified.
The same error message appeared while accessing applications such as Acrobat reader, firefox etc.

Did anybody encounter this problem and solved it?

By the way, accessing all of them applications with 2X AppSRVClient was smooth without giving any errors.

    Thank you,

    Tom

    Hi tom,

Could you please forward me a copy of the 2xa file of the apps that are not working....

Right click on the icon from the web and select "save target as ..."
Please clear the user name and password contents.

    Nixu

    Web Portal not running smoothly

    Hi Nixu,
The applications are published for all the users and published from all servers in the farm(actually there's only one server currently).

    2X Web Portal

    Hi Nixu,
Yeah, there's no ip filtering. I even published a new app, and this no published item specified pops up so fast.

It is not a big problem right now coz we are not implementing currently. However, we are planning to make this portal as a intranet web inside the company.

By the way I did a usual installation of dot net 2 framework and IIS 6.0.
And I even redid the whole process.

Anybody (excluding Nixu) getting the same problem "No published item specified"? It is generating from 2X ApplicationServerClient.

    Thank you.
    Tom

    Hi Nixu,
I am still waiting for the support.
What are other ways to see the source of this error?

    Regards,
    Tom
