2X Webportal with SAML/alternative loginmethods

I was wondering if the 2X webportal could be used with alternative loginmethods, such as Shibboleth, CAS, ... or any other SAML authentication system?

webportal authenicates against windows login method. additionally it can make use of seond level auth by means of integration with deepnet authentication platform. remember that finally you need to establish a ts session where the same credentials are used.

post more information if you try out other auth mechanisms
