3150 Auto Close when exiting Windows.

Somewhere along the line I set Parralels to automaticly close when I close my Windows session. However, now I find that I can no longer change the configuration of the VM because you can only do that when Windows is not running (But Parallels is...).

I'm stuck stuck in a loop.

Can anyone tell me how I can fix this?

But what if you also have it set to auto run the VM on launch?

So when I launch Parallels it auto boots into Windows, and when I stop Windows it auto shuts down Parallels.

How in the world can I get to the config editor?

Autostart/Autoshutdown Switches

You'll need to edit the "winxp.pvs" configuration file using TextEdit.app.

Go to [username] => Library => Parallels => Winxp => Winxp.pvs

Change the following 2 lines from:

Start auto = 1
AutoShutdown = 1


to:

Start auto = 0
AutoShutdown = 0

This should turn off the autostart and autoshutdown settings
