Im planning to install windows 7 on my macbook but I do not know if I should have 32 or 64 bit version of Windows. I have a 2.9 Ghz Inteel core i7 I assume with Windows 7 I would use Parallels 7 ?
Hi ChristerH, You could install a 64 bit Windows 7 Virtual Machine on your Mac using the latest version Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac. To install Windows on your Mac, please follow this link: http://kb.parallels.com/4729 Thanks, Looran
Be advise if you have some legacy Windows programs, they may not run with 64 bit programs. I know I should dump it, but for example, I'm using Password Pro and it only runs on my 32 bit installation. So I'm willing to give up a little speed for the few legacy programs I still have.
