Same Yes, I'd really like to know this too. It is not clear AT ALL in the documentation and its frustrating to have purchased this software to find out upon install that its not compatible with 32-bit systems.
As you can see in Parallels Desktop system requirements: http://www.parallels.com/products/desktop/system-requirements/ Your CPU is incompatible with Parallels, to be more technical it's not just the fact it's not 32bit it also lack some virtualization instructions Parallels requires. In fact I would advice extreme caution when buying software for this CPU (Intel Core Duo and Solo) many titles out there are incompatible with these specific CPUs and so is OSX Lion AFAIK, always check the system requirements.
