5 to 6 upgrade stalls

MacPro - 10.5.8

On upgrade from 5 to 6, stalls at "Running Parallels SDK Docs Installer script"

I have minimized windows. there are no hidden windows visible.

I can't close it as it is busy.

Stuck !!!

sun-sense, try force-quitting the installer.

1. Open Applications->Activity Monitor
2. In the list find "Installer" and click it once to highlight
3. Click "Quit Process" button in the top left corner of Activity Monitor window.
4. Click "Force Quit" in the dialog opened.

This will kill the Installer. After that you can run installation again an it should be fine this time.

Oop's.

In the end, with some trpidation, I gave up and pressed and held the on/off button on the notebook.

I installed again and this time it worked.

So why did it hang for over an hour previously ???

Anyway...its working fine now.
