5584 Major Issue with CPU Usage & USB

I just upgraded to 5584 without incident. I connected my Treo 700wx (ActiveSync) via USB. It connected fine but once I disconnected the it the CPU did not go down in my VM and stays at about 40% utilized. The only way to get it to go back down was to restart my VM. I tried it several times to make sure it's not a fluke but it did it every time.

I'm on Leopard 10.5.1. All other specs are below.

Can anyone else see if you are experiencing this same issue?

Please check if the excessive CPU usage might be caused by any third-party software. See this thread for example.

Anyway, I would appreciate if you send me the screenshots of Windows Task Manager and Mac Activity Manager (Appications -> Utilities) for we could see the full list of processes sorted by %CPU.
