One more incredibly frustrating thing to add to the 9344 problems.

    OS X 10.6.3
    Parallels 5.0.9344 + tools hotfix
    WinXP Pro
WinAmp 5772 (and earlier versions such as 5441)

the hotfix solved the problem I and others had of saving from Framemaker to a shared OS X drive but there remains a problem with WinAmp apparently.

When I make edit the metadata on a song it should save it write away to the drive so that if I re-read the meta data the changes should be reflected. Alternatively after making a change, if I delete the song from the library (not from the drive), and then re-add the song to the library the changes should be apparent. this is not happening when I make the change from within Winamp.

Quite apart from the notorious annoyances with the various media players, I do look for some consistency.

    Other details:

RealPlayer SP does make the change.
Windows Media Player 11 also seems to make the change OK.
Of course, iTunes on OS X also makes the change which is reflected, as with the other players, if I re-read the metadata in WinAmp.

WinAmp did make the change previously.

Also, I have whatever artifacts are created when Parallels quit unexpectedly yesterday. Anyone know where can I send those? (I was not online when the crash happened).
