Ability to schedule recreation of VMs created from a Template

Hello everyone
Is it possible to re-create RDS Hosts from templates using a task? We only have a maintenance windows to re-create hosts from 1:00 am until 04:00 am, so it would be awesome if we could automate that.

Hi, Yes, this is still in the roadmap and targeted for 2023 with ability to recreate guest VMs based on schedule incase template is updated or not. In the meantime there is also a community script (use at own discretion) available https://www.parallels.com/blogs/ras/parallels-ras-template-updates/ . This script will be uploaded into Parallels Github https://github.com/Parallels/RAS-PowerShell

 

Hi, please note that the ability to recreate VMs based on template for RDSH, VDI and AVD has been added in Parallels RAS 19.3.
