My understanding is that to make an accent mark (such as é) over a letter in Windows, one types CTRL-' followed by the letter to be accented (similar to OPTION-e followed by the desired letter on the Mac side). I'm finding that this doesn't work for me in my Windows 7 Guest (Parallels 9).
Am I incorrect that this method should work, and if so, how should accent marks be created in Windows documents (notepad, word, etc.)?
