I'm running Snow Leopard Server as a Parallels Desktop for Mac Guest OS.
I have an physical external drive attached (via Firewire) to the physical machine. The external drive appears the host machine's Devices list.
How do I see the external drive in the Guest OS? Virtual Machine -> Configure... -> Security -> SmartMount does not seem to work as advertised: neither FireWire- nor USB-attached external drives appear in the SLS Guest OS.
More to the point, how do I clone the virtual Snow Leopard Server HDD onto an external disk? Parallels Mounter does not seem to recognize Mac OS-formatted .hdd files
