Accessing file from Mac desktop.

Have downloads on mac desktop which I need to open on window 7 but files are not drag and drop like they are when I use windows XP? [Currently use a memory stick to transfer but slow .]
How do I do this.
Have enabled file sharing.

Fixed , just needed to install parallel tools [whatever that is ], everything fine now.
