Acrobat 8 wont install

I saw another post, but nobody answered the question ... It flashes the installer for a split second and then quits. Any ideas on what the issue may be?

Adobe Reader 8 installed and works fine for me on Windows XP Pro running under Parallels build 1970.

Do you really mean Acrobat 8, the expensive full support .pdf program or the free .pdf reader called Adobe Reader?

I had an MS IE 7 crash so reinstalled Reader 8

check your active x permissions

so i wil risk that

AOL9 is better than AOL 10 for Mac also Windows live messenger

no longer necessary to use the old tired MS Apps for Mac but can get the native versions
