Trying to rebuild old install on replacement 2013 MacBook pro. Please provide details of how to activate Parallels 9 License. Thank you!
I just purchased a "new" unused Parallels Desktop 9 on ebay. Tonight I was able to register the license without issue: MR47XN-*****-*****-*****-***** I then followed https://kb.parallels.com/en/123511 That resulted in: Last login: Fri Jul 24 21:03:54 on console mbps-MacBook-Pro:~ mbp$ prlsrvctl install-license -k MR47XN-*****-*****-*****-***** The license has been successfully installed. A file was in fact created, i followed the procedure twice. First time i just deleted the file licenses.xml, the second time I deleted the entire license directory. File was created on first try, directory and file were created on the second try. Neither time would parallels run, stating the software was not activated ... So clearly Parallels infrasctructure is intact and operational. I can use it via Mavericks, it builds files for Parallels 9. You allow registration of licenses that have not been registered. So when i ask for help over extended periods of time (CharlesC6 is my ID to via old email) why do you refuse to respond and help register my perpetual licenses?
