I have a Mac that has an existing partition that runs windows via boot camp, and I use Parallels. I've just maxed out the memory on my Mac. Went from 2GB to 4GB. When I go to configure the amount of memory allocated to the VM on Parallels to give it more, a warning comes up saying that the OS installed on the system has a max memory of 1GB. If I allocate more than that amount it may cause both my Mac and Windows partition to slow down...
Do I have to reinstall the Windows OS to allocate more memory to the Windows partition????
