After Expanding VM size, Windows still keeps reporting as 'full' !!

Hi Guys, got a head scrathcher. I am trying to update Windows 10, but, the VM drive keeps reporting as 'needs more space'. My Windows installation takes up 37GB - and is reported as such in both Parallels Control Centre, and the PVM file within Mac. However, no matter what size I expand my VM disk to, Windows itself keeps showing the 'C' drive as 'full'. I have tried expanding all the way up to 100GB (which Parallels confirms), but even at 100GB space, Windows still shows the virtual drive as 'full', and unable to perform the upgrade. No snapshots, no 'previous' installations, no junk etc...... Any ideas why Windows constantly thinks its 'full'??
