agent not found... please help! :-)

hi! i've uninstalled novell login, activated fast user switching... but still get


2X Client Gateway running normally
2X Client Gateway running on 192.168.46.128:80
Citrix gateway running on 192.168.46.128:1494
Broadcast service running on 192.168.46.128:20000

0 active RDP tunneled session(s)
0 active Citrix tunneled session(s)


2X Terminal Server Agent not running, please check log file for more information

2X Publishing Agent running normally
Load Balancing 1 server(s)

Active Disconnected

I'm sure i have an RDP connection active... i've installed a software to enumerate active terminal sessions and it says...

SESSION ID 65536 RDP-TCP WTSListen Winstation is listening for connection

can anybody help? i'm trying to use 2x to tunnel some winxp software into ubuntu linux.... on another machine it worked well but on this i always get "agent not found"....

if run 2xagent.exe or 2XProxyGateway.exe I receive...

[E] Wed Feb 28 13:58:42 2007 - Failed to start service
[E] Wed Feb 28 13:58:42 2007 - The service process could not connect to the service controller.

if i try to reinstall the agent on localhost it says

"You were not connect because a duplicate name exists on the network."

but i'm sure there is no duplicate name (even tryed to change the name more than once)....

if i select 127.0.0.1 it installs but then says... no agent found again!!!!


please help!

Hi there,

The installation seams to be be totally fine..

Your issue is that you have your system's perlib corrupted.

With the product you can find a console application called "2XPerfRepair.exe". Run this application and it will fix your system's perlib.

are there any services that i should check are running in services.msc?
 
It seams that your performance system (perflib) is corrupted.
I suggest you reinstall this machine.
