All guest OSs suddenly without network

None of my guest OSs are able to connect to the network. I have Network Adapter Options set to Device Status: Enabled, Comment cable at startup and Emulation: Shared Networking, which has worked fine for months. This appears to have happened simultaneously on all four VMs. I did recently update to Mac OS X 10.5.6, which makes me suspicious.

Host OS:
Mac OS X 10.5.6
Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac build 5626 (November 5, 2008)

Guest OS:
Windows XP
Parallels Tools Center build 5626 (17.10.2008)

I didn't see any other reports like this in the forums. Any suggestions?
 
Hello,

Please try to switch Shared Networkin to Bridged Ethernet and back.
That should recreate all network settings.
Edit -> Virtual Machine -> Network Adapter 1-> Emulation -> Bridged Ethernet -> start VM-> check if you are able to access the Internet.


Please inform us about the results.
 
Almost.

Switching to Bridged Ethernet re-instated the network connection, but when I switched back to Shared Networking it was lost again.

I should've checked again this morning - having my laptop off all weekend seems to have renewed the lease anyway, and the VMs are working normally. Thanks for your help.
