Android Virtual Device

Is there a way to use Parallels virtualization for the Android SDK's virtual mobile device emulator? On Linux, I can use KVM. The ADT says to use the Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager, but since I have Parallels I would like to use it.

You could install Windows VM on your Mac using Parallels Desktop for Mac following: http://kb.parallels.com/4729

Once you have working VM yuo can install the Andriod Virtual Mobile Emulator.

I would like to use Parallels instead of installing the Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager (Intel HAXM). If I cannot use Parallels, then what conflicts are there running both Parallels and HAXM?

As you are planning to use Intel HAXM within a Windows Virtual Machine, there should not be any issues

Is there a reason the suggestion isn't to use the android image the parallels provides?
