Currently, I'm using the latest version of Parallels Desktop 8. For some strange reason, I'm unable to start my Snow Leopard Guest OS. I moved out the unmountable SL VM and created a new one which startup fine.

Now, I would like to extract a few files from that unmountable SL VM. But when I mount it with the Parallels Mounter, the volume did mount. However there's nothing inside.

So, how can I mount the SL VM and extract some files?

    Help?

    Thanks in advance.

    Maybe it's corrupted?

Anyway, you can always add a virtual disk to your existing VM, and as such you can add another's VM disk to it.

    It's not corrupted.

By the way, how to add a virtual disk to your existing VM?

    Thanks.

A quick exploration of Parallels user interface, or a browsing the User guide would have wield this information, which I post here in case anyone still needs it: VM Configuration > Hardware > Plus arrow at the bottom > hard disk > existing image > point to the disk image inside the .pvm of the VM disk you want to access.
