my macbook is a PRO 13" with M1 and 16GB ram with parallels 17 the game pro evolution soccer 2021 (settings 720P/low details) works very very well 60FPS super stable! but now with parallels 18 (same MAC same SETTINGS) the game not works super smooth anymore, it often seems to lags probably version 18 is a back step back in GPU driver or something else.... (im not a developer just a player!) BUT sadly version 17 doesn't support any bluetooth controller (ps4 or xbox i tried everithing) i hope parallels team developers read this and try to improve GPU things in version 18 to runs perfect with PES2021 (the best football game for win) like was in parallels 17 bye
Hello Mark! Would you reproduce the issue once again and collect a fresh technical report at the moment of reproduction (click Parallels icon (||) > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and send the report's 9-digit ID in your reply? If you can make a screen recording, kindly send it to us in your reply too.
sadly the app cannot send any report but you can try yourself (there is a demo on torrent of PES2021) on M1 V17 works superb on M1 V18 sadly game often lags/tearing (still playable but not good...) same settings 720P/lowdetails i belive V18 (i make a FRESH install of it) is a big step back in GPU driver or something else PLEASE verify (another problem the latest version of pes ,pes2022 ,not works on any parallels v17 or 18 sadly... bye
Mik, dont be one of those type of developers. There is a major issue with v18 to the point of making it useless. I dont know how you could have missed this in testing other then your test systems are using a different version of MacOS or something. But right now what this user is reporting is true. V18 has broken video drivers to the point of overt issue. With every single game and application. I really dont know how you guys could have missed it.
First, thank you a lot for your feedback. Second, would you check it in Parallels Desktop 18.0.1 where a few GDI acceleration-related fixes have been added? Will the performance be the same? If it's actually so, we need a technical report collected at the moment of reproduction (click Parallels icon (||) > Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and send the report's 9-digit ID in your reply to this post. This data is needed to submit the issue to our developers. PS: our QA Team will also try to test it once again to have a local reproduction of the issue.
