Issue:
Getting an authentication prompt:
A username and password are being requested for sub-domain even when we are not setting it.
Reason:
Main domain has some settings to be changed in the application pool.
In normal cases, all domains should be set with the plesk user authentication with the same username and password as the plesk admin.
In some cases, the sub-domains created will not inherit the user settings of the main domain.
Solution:
I have set "Applicationpool Identity" in authentication option in IIS. This will manually set the identity for the sub-domain same as the application pool of that domain. This holds good for the domain as well.
re-configure the domian to make sure that the changes have taken effect.
