I just installed Vista RTM 32 Bit German to my parallels 1970 running on a mac pro w 16 gig. Installed parallels tools with two methods (just installed (a) and installed with compat.mode xp sp2 (b)).Both Methods showing very poor sound performance when playing mp3 files with mediaplayer or with other players like vlc. It sounds like some kind of crackling and interruptions all the time. I tried to adjust the settings in the vista sound control but nothing helps so far. Any ideas? BTW: yesterday evening I tried it on a macbook pro just to be sure it don´t depend on the mac pro. Same result. Sound crackling.
