Basic p6 w7 x64 question

Sorry for this basic question . It appears from my search of this forum that w7 x64 should work with a new mb pro under lion.
I see some bsod threads.

I intend to use p6 with w7 ultimate ( not an upgrade ) x64 ( under lion / mac os.). Will that work!
