Beginner problem: change size of Win11 VM under macOS

I hope someone here can help me with a stupid beginner problem.
I have a Win11 VM running under macOS Sequoia 15.6 (Parallels Desktop 20 for Mac). This was created with 256G of space. I now need to increase the size.
I found the option to go to "Windows 11 Configuration", Hard Disk => Advanced, use "Location: SATA 0:1, Enable Trim", and then under Properties, set the size to (e.g.) 512G.
However, Windows 11 still claims to have a size of 256G, spread (seen via System / Storage / Disks & volumes) now over four volumes:

1. 300 MB NTFS Recovery Partition
2. 300 MB FAT32 EFI
3. 254 GB NTFS C: (the same size as before)
4. 255 GB NTFS "Recovery Partition" - this seems to be where the new space has ended up

I also see the same info in "Disk Management", where the "Recovery partition" is presented right of the C: partition. However, I can neither "Extend" C: to include this new 255 GB, nor can I do anything with the new option (the context menu only shows "____ Help"). How do I make the new 255 GB available to the C: drive? (I have found some older posts from 2021-2023, but none of them seem to work). Screenshot at https://app.screencast.com/eVWaKGyxXOxdw
Any assistance would be appreciated. It surely cannot be difficult, and I am probably missing some facepalm detail - I just can't find it...

For some reason, I always ended up in a different article (from, I think, 2021, so newer than the one you linked), which did not solve the issue. Now the partition is larger and I am happy again .
