Best backup

Hi all. I'm currently running Catalina on a Mac Mini, with Windows 10 and Windows 7 on Parallels 15
I started using Windows 10 on BootCamp, but don't seem to need it it with Parallels.
I'm using Carbon Copy Clone to back up to an external HD.
Any thoughts?
 
@condie hi, please clarify what data are you exactly trying to make a copy of using the Carbon Copy Cloner, Is it the entire Mac OS along with the Boot Camp and virtual machines running under Parallels. And also let us know what exactly you are trying to accomplish.
