Best settings for running Windows 8 under Parallels 10???

What is the best settings for running Windows 8 under Parallels 10 (iMac running Yosemite)?
Had a recent issue with my Windows VM (which the Parallels Tech was great in helping) and updated to Parallels 10. But Windows is still "sluggish", especially when playing some games. And not even processor intensive games - even things like Microsoft Solitaire.

Hello Steve,

Please try (re)installing Parallels Tools as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/4841 (make sure that Windows Firewall and antivirus application are disabled while installing Parallels Tools).
Change RAM memory improve the performance of the Virtual machine by following http://kb.parallels.com/112091

Thanks Abdul - but both of these suggestions were tried and followed - I asked the same question in the Parallels installation forum. No significant improvement. Perhaps I am just expecting too much. Thanks anyway
