Best way to delete Dropbox folder on windows VM without affecting dropbox on the mac

running II v18 on 2019 intel macbook pro.
I installed dropbox a few years back on the Windows side.... not sure why I did that as it really doesn't do anything for me except take space and time.
I'd like to delete the dropbox folder on the windows side, without affecting the mac side..... don't want the deletion to be replicated !!

Sign out from Dropbox and then uninstall it from the windows machine before deleting the files should do the trick.
