Beta 1 -> Beta2+ Upgrade Problems

My Beta 1 created Windows XP Parallels image goes into an apparent infinite loop as soon as the old Parallels Tools realizes it is out of date. This makes it a little difficult to update the version of Parallels Tools in the old image. Anyone know of a work around (besides creating a new image)?

So far all I've been able to do is to Force Quit Parallels.
 
Hey,

You could boot XP into Safe Mode (hold F8 down during start up) and then remove the current copy of Parallels Tools - it won't be loaded from Safe Mode.
