Beta3 not remembering Window position

Beta3 keeps opening up the initial window in the middle of the screen, even after I reposition it to the upper left corner and close it there ... this is very frustrating.
 
UPDATE: Seems that the problem is with my user account. Logged in as another user and Parallels started in the upper left corner.

I've deleted the preference file and created a new Parallels folder, moved the files into it, then deleted the old folder (thinking that an invisible file was the problem), but no help.

Can someone tell me where to find the file that contains the initial window position (even if it is invisible).

SOLUTION: There is a hidden file called .parallels_settings in the root directory of the user home folder. Deleting the file did not solve the problem, but copying the file from the other user account did work. Strange...but thought I'd share in case anyone else encounters this. :D
