Hey guys, I have my Windows 10 VM (Windows 10 Home, version 2004) kept in dock, which I usually use to directly launch the VM without having to open Parallels. After updating to Big Sur, whenever I launch Windows 10 directly from my Windows 10 VM docked icon, the VM is launched in a full black screen. The only solution is then to shut down the VM with Actions - Shut Down. This issue does not occur if I start the VM after launching Parallels and then starting Windows 10 VM manually or even automatically (when configured to start when Parallels launches, for example). In such cases the VM is started in full screen without any issues. Could we please get a fix for this? Cheers
Same issue. Resolution was to reverting to a smartguard snapshot of a quiesced VM and re-install Parallels Desktop, then restart Windows VM. Windows 10 Pro 20H2 Build 19042.685 Parallels desktop 16.1.2 (49151) macOS Big Sur V11.1 Mac mini (2018) Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700B CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.19 GHz
Problem has returned after installing latest upgrade to Parallels Version 19. Tried reverting to Smartguard snapshot and re-installing Parallels Desktop, then restart Windows VM. Snapshot restored is Parallels V19 with Toolbox Version 6.5.0 (4706) Toolbox messages that new software needs to be installed in guest VM. However, problem returns after the Toolbox update.
