Big Sur video playback issue (in the Mac host)

I updated to Big Sur and since that time if my Win10 guest is running video playback _in the host_ doesn't work. I can start parallels, and as long as the guest VM is stopped or suspended all is well. If it's running, though, Youtube, etc. won't work on the Mac side of things.

I worked out that I could fix the issue by not sharing Windows apps with Mac nor Mac apps with Windows, but I wonder if there's a more elegant solution that I overlooked. (Configure, Options, Applications, and un-check the two options to share apps between OSs.)

Any ideas what may be causing this?
 
Updating this post to say that turning off app sharing only stopped the issue for a period of time. It's returned. I reinstalled parallel tools and rebooted the VM and everything's working again. If you allow it to go to sleep the error returns after it wakes.
