Black screen after Windows 10 upgrade

I installed Windows 10 and it appeared to be working fine. After computer shutdown and reboot I only get black screen when trying to start Windows. Any suggestions re how to fix?

Hello BobK1,
Please try resetting the virtual machine as steps suggested below.
Start Windows virtual machine > Click Actions > click Reset . If still issue persist please refer http://kb.parallels.com/113823 and let us if it worked.

Windows 10 returned after the second reset. After the successful start using reset i shutdown Windows 10, rebooted computer and restarted Windows 10. it seems to be working normally. Is there any reason to expect this problem to recur?

Also, now there is an icon on the Task Bar that I didn't notice before..."Windows Shell Experience Host".

Hi Bob, yes Windows Shell Experience Host will appear, you can ignore this for now as our developers are working on this.
