Blank Tab in Chrome on Mac from links in Windows

I started using Parallels with V9 and configured weblinks to open in Mac (Chrome browser), now since I have upgraded to Parallels 10 I get blank tabs instead of the page requested when I click on a link in Outlook in Windows. I have tried disabling the option and the link opens in windows fine, but re-enable and it just creates a new window with a blank tab on Mac.

Any suggestions on resolving this?

Chrome Version 37.0.2062.68 beta

I think I identified the problem, I have been using the 6bit beta, but I think the default browser in the Mac System Preferences > General Settings was set to the non beta. I have stopped using the beta and it is all working now. I had other issues with chrome that I assume relate to the beta... ie pages not rendering until you change tabs.
