I downloaded the new Parallels beta and made a new Boot Camp partition. I installed the mac drivers and the Parallels Tools. Everything works fine if I reboot into Windows. But, trying to run it from Parallels is a mess right now. When it boots up, the only mac driver application that actually loads is the keyboard one. If I go to full screen mode, it stays at 800x600, instead of changing to 1280X800, and if I Ctrl+Option out, the screen stays at 800x600, so to get out of Windows, I have to tab over to the finder, launch the Activity Monitor, and kill Parallels. I previously was using a non Boot Camp partition with the beta, which was working fine. That's problem one.
The second problem is that Coherence never works. If I click the icon on the right side of the Parallels window, it flashes on for a frame or two, and then turns back off. It does this if I have an open window in Windows or not. This didn't work with a Boot Camp or non Boot Camp Windows install. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
I'm running a new MacBook with an 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 1GB of RAM, and a 120GB hard drive.
Thanks in advance.
