Boot from installation DVD

I would like to do some repairs to my guest OS Windows7. Therefor I need to start up from the DVD.

would apreciate if someone could explain to me how I have to do this.

I guess as your would do it on a native system. Insert the DVD, mount it to your VM and restart Windows. And check your VM setting regarding Boot Order. This should work.
