    Hi all...

Running Parallels Desktop 9, and installing Mavericks from install image...

However, Parallels needs to "download a boot image (5.6Gig)"

    I have a few questions :-

    1. where is the boot image download too (which folder is i stored in, so after i've used it, i can manually remove it)
    2. I thought the Boot image is the InstallESD.dmg,, however Parallels Desktop suggests otherwise..

My guess its because bootfiles are hidden now in Mavericks, Parallels can't see them...... Is this true as to the reason why Parallels think there is no boot image, where there is,

Can anyone shed some light ?

    Hi Techhead156,

Please follow the steps as suggested at http://kb.parallels.com/118806 in order to create a Mavericks Virtual Machine.

Unfortunately, the image file for Mavericks is not supported with Parallels Desktop.

    Thanks,
    Manoj.
