BootCamp issue

Keep getting message Can't access hard disk 1 error: input/output. Please help. i have tried everything on here. just no help.
 
Hello Rick,

Please note that you need to shut down the Virtual Machine before carrying out this process.

1. Open Configure Options.
2. Go to hard disk 1.
3. Click and choose image file and click ok.(Ignore if you receive any errors)
4. Again go to Configure options.
5. Go to Hard disk 1 and now choose Bootcamp and click OK.

Now try to start Parallels.
Let me know the outcome of the above steps.

I have followed your instructions and it says please wait while virtual machine is being configured... It then freezes up and then a message pops up ("UNABLE TO ACCESS HARD DISK 1" an error occured when accessing the hard disk. Error ID: input/Output error.

PLEASE HELP!!!
