I have installed Parallels on my Uncle's Macbook Pro. I created a virtual machine to run off the bootcamp partition. Everything works except for network access on the virtual machine. He has a program that runs across the network and unfortunately, the network location "cannot be found" for some reason. I have tried the suggestions on the website, going from shared to bridged to host-only. Nothing worked. Any solutions would be appreciated.

I suppose you need to install Windows Vista drivers first
1. Connect Parallels Tools CD image (vmtools.iso) to VM. You can find
Parallels Tools CD image at the /Library/Parallels/Tools folder.
2. In the Windows Vista Start menu, go to Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager and select
Network Adapters -> Parallels Network Adapter in the left panel. Double click it.
3. Choose Driver -> Update Driver... -> Browse for driver software on your computer. Point the path to your CD.
4. When Windows asks you what driver to use, you should point to:
Drivers/Network/RTL8029/Win2000.XP.ME.2003 on your virtual CD-ROM.

Well, we are running Windows XP on his system.
Now, his computer is a dental computer, so he does not have any internet access via the Ethernet card, only network access to his backup server. His airport card does access the internet. So when running the Parallels VM, he can access the airport network with no problem, wirelessly (or through bluetooth, however he has it set up) but the ethernet card built in (wired) is not giving him access.
When booted natively in boot camp, he has network access but no airport access, which is how it should be.
What else can we try?

Is Airport recognized when you login in Windows through Boot Camp, if yes you need to enter password to connect to router
About Parallels, I suggest you add the second Network adapter and select it Bridged Ethernet and set it binded to wired Ethernet card and assign proper IP
