Bootcamp VM can't enter coherence

I have bootcamp installed which I run natively but also added the bootcamp as a guest OS VM in Parallels. It functions great with the exception that I cannot enter coherence mode (get this error - The virtual machine display configuration could not be applied. Please try again.) Any idea why this would be?

Please try reinstalling Parallels Tools and keep us posted whether it resolves the issue.
 
Hi Thanks for your response. Yes I have reinstalled parallel tools several times with no resolution.
