Bridged Network not working

When i select bridged network - default adapter (air port), i got not internet access and i cannot see my other window pc on the network. but no problem with shared network with internet access. i have 3 window pc in my network, 1 macbook with parallels running. shared network does not allow me the access the window pc on my network directly as they are not in the same ip range.

Parallels tools is installed. In bridged network, I checked the ip address and gateway in window 7 and it show the same ip range as my internet and the gateway is also correct. mac's firewall is off. but i just can't get internet access and accessing to my other window system. i need bridge network because i need to access other window based pc in my network for application development.
any advice? thanks in advance.

For me to say anything, I need to see the output of "ipconfig /all" from Windows side and output of "ifconfig -a" at Mac-side.

It is very strange. It is supposed to work.. Could you please send a problem-report using menu "Help"->"Report a Problem" and post here its id? I'd want to clear out one thing. But likely it is some setting on the WiFi-router..

Btw, it is possible to access WindowsPC using shared networking by it's IP, i.e. type in the address string something like \\191.168.1.34

I'm having the same issue - my XP VM will get an IP and gateway but will not be able to access the internet. I can get this to work by playing around with the network setting, switching it back and forth from bridged to shared several times until it just starts working again eventually.

It will be working fine and then overnight the internet access will stop working though the VM still has an IP and gateway / DNS, etc.

I need bridged mode to work, I'm using the guest with Playon so netflix will serve to my cinemacube.

I need to clarify - when the VM loses internet access the IP from my router is also lost (wired LAN, not wirless). I forgot that I had switched the guest OS to a static IP in an attempt to fix the issue (which it did not). My router is configured as a straight thru switch basically, no firewall or NAT rules, ports, etc. All the other computers on the network work fine, it's just the guest OS on this Mac Pro having the problem.

Given I can get it to work again by switching between bridged and shared network (back and forth several times - no pattern) I believe the issue is either a bug in the Parallels network driver or an issue in the Mac's LAN driver / hardware.

Bridged Network flaky

I have a similar problem. Bridged mode works but is unreliable. It will connect, then lose connectivity and I need to either switch to shared mode or disconnect from bridged and reconnect. It's a real nuisance, as I need to have bridged mode for inbound access to the virtual machine. This problem seems to have started with the latest Desktop 7 update. A bug maybe?

If you have Intel(R) PRO/1000 MT as the Default Adapter (Bridged Network), you might need to activate DHCP for this Adapter in your Windows VM. How to activate, right click Network Icon on the bottom right of Windows Desktop and click Troubleshoot problems. Btw my Parallels version is 10.2.1 (29006)
